Fuel vapor separator (Range Rover 3)

Please read the section carefully before disconnecting the battery "Disconnecting the battery" and follow all the instructions there.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Removing

1. Place the car on a lift.

2. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.

3. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

V8 ENGINE FUEL SUPPLY, REPAIR WORK, Fuel tank.

4. Disconnect the filler pipe hose and the fuel vapor absorber hose from the mounting brackets on the fuel tank.



5. Loosen 2 clamps and disconnect 2 hoses from the fuel tank. Remove the 2 separator mounting parts and disconnect it from the fuel tank.

Installation

1. Install the fuel vapor separator in place and secure it with 2 fasteners, connect 2 hoses to the fuel tank and secure them with clamps.

2. Install the filler pipe hose and the absorber hose on the fuel tank, secure them with the fastening brackets.

3. Install the fuel tank on the vehicle.

4. Connect "mass" battery wire.
