GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.
Performing a procedure
1. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.
WARNING: Fuel leakage is inevitable during this operation. Take safety precautions to prevent fire or explosion.
2. Remove a noise-insulating casing of the engine.
V8 engine, REPAIR WORK, Engine soundproofing cover.
3. Connect LRT-19-004 to LRT-19-006.
4. Remove the protective cap from the Schrader valve.
5. Connect tool LRT-19-006 with tool LRT-19-004 installed to Schrader valve.
6. Open the faucet of LRT-19-006.
7. Connect "mass" battery wire.
8. Start the engine and let it idle.
9. Record the pressure gauge reading. The fuel pressure must be between 3.25...3.75 bar.
10. Stop the engine.
11. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.
12. Close the valve of LRT-19-006.
13. Take a piece of clean rag and wrap it around the Schroeder valve so that it can absorb the fuel spilled during the detachment of the tool.
14. Remove tool LRT-19-006 complete with tool LRT-19-004 from Schrader valve.

15. Install the protective cap on the Schrader valve.
16. Remove (disconnect) tool LRT-19-004 from tool LRT-19-006.
17. Reinstall the engine noise cover.
V8 engine, REPAIR WORK, Engine soundproofing cover.
18. Connect "mass" battery wire.
