GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.
Removing
1. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.
WARNING: Fuel vapors are highly flammable, and in an enclosed area they are also toxic and explosive. There must be a fire extinguisher in the room where fuel is removed from the fuel tank (foam, carbon dioxide, gas or powder).
2. Remove the lower rack trim "D".

3. Remove the lining of the passenger compartment opposite the pillar "D".
4. Turn away 2 bolts with an internal hexagon fixing levels of fastening of a spare wheel to a crossbar, and remove levels.
5. Raise the carpet, fold it forward and lock it in this position.
6. Turn away 4 nuts and remove the left cover of a body for access to a fuel tank.
7. Clean the surface of the lock ring from dirt and dust.
8. Using tool LRT-19-009, remove the lock ring from the fuel tank body.
9. Remove the inspection hole plug. When reinstalling, replace the old plug seal with a new one.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting any system elements, make sure that the places immediately adjacent to the elements to be disconnected are free of dirt. Immediately after disconnection, close the open ends of the pipelines with plugs to prevent foreign particles from entering the system.
Installation
1. Clean the area around the inspection hole of the fuel tank from dirt and dust.
2. Clean the inspection hole plug. Install a new plug seal.
3. Insert the plug into the opening of the fuel tank, press it until it stops. The plug is installed in a certain position. Make sure the seal is in the correct position after installing the plug.
4. Using tool LRT-19-009, install the lock ring and tighten it to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).
5. Lower the mat.
6. Install the bolts for fastening the spare wheel bars and tighten them to a torque of 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
7. Reinstall the bottom rack pads "D".

8. Connect "mass" battery wire.
