Bottom pan gasket (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Place a container under the sump drain plug, remove the drain plug and discard the sealing washer. Let the oil drain.



2. Turn away 21 bolts of fastening of the lower part of the oil pallet to the top. Remove the bottom of the oil pan and discard the gasket.

Assembly

1. Wipe the mating surfaces on the oil pan.

2. Lay a new gasket on the mating surface of the lower pallet.

3. Install the lower part of the oil pan.

4. Screw in 21 bolts of fastening of the lower pallet and tighten them with the moment of 10 Нм.

5. Wipe the drain plug, install a new sealing ring on it and tighten the plug to 25 Nm.

6. Fill the engine with oil.
