GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.
Removing
1. Disconnect "negative" battery wire.
2. Remove nozzles.
ENGINE MANAGEMENT Td6:, REPAIR WORK, Injector.
3. Disconnect the connector from the camshaft position sensor.
4. Disconnect the connector from the absolute pressure and intake air temperature sensor.
5. Release from a collar a wire plait and a vacuum tube.
6. Remove the clamp securing the vacuum hose and wire harness to the vacuum tube.
7. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum reservoir.
8. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the valve cover.
9. Disconnect the fuel return line from the valve cover.
10. Disconnect the motor harness from the clamps and take it away from the valve cover.
11. Remove the grommet from the fuel rail.
12. Consistently loosen and turn away 18 bolts of fastening of a valvate cover.
13. Remove the valve cover and discard its gasket.
Installation
1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the valve cover and cylinder head.
2. Install a new gasket and bolts on the valve cover.
3. Apply a bead of STC 5050 sealant 2mm high and 2mm wide as shown.
4. Install the valve cover in place and evenly tighten it with bolts. Tightening torque 10 Nm.
5. Install the grommet through the fuel rail.
6. Fasten the motor harness in the clamps.
7. Attach the fuel return line and engine harness to the valve cover.
8. Attach the vacuum hose to the valve cover and connect it to the vacuum reservoir.
9. Install the clamp that secures the vacuum hose and wire harness to the vacuum tube.
10. Attach the connector to the absolute pressure and intake air temperature sensor.
11. Connect the connector to the camshaft position sensor.
12. Install nozzles.

13. Attach "negative" wire to the battery.
