Oil pressure switch (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the precautions prescribed for this procedure have been taken.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Removing

1. Disconnect "negative" battery wire.



2. Disconnect the connector from the contact oil pressure switch.

3. Spread a rag to catch spilled oil.

4. Unscrew the contact pressure switch and discard the sealing washer.

Installation

1. Wipe the threads of the oil pressure switch.

2. Install a new sealing washer on the oil pressure switch.

3. Screw in the oil pressure switch and tighten it. Tightening torque 14 Nm.

4. Connect the connector to the oil pressure switch.

5. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

6. Attach "negative" wire to the battery.
