Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the precautions prescribed for this procedure have been taken.

Removing

1. Disconnect "negative" battery wire.

2. Remove the timing cover gasket.

Installation

1. Install the timing cover gasket.

2. Attach "negative" wire to the battery.
