Supplementary Air Pump Relay (SAI) (Range Rover 3)

Please read the section carefully before disconnecting the battery "Disconnecting the battery" and follow all the instructions there.

Removing

1. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.



2. Remove the 10 Allen screws securing the housing cover to house the electronic control units and remove the cover.



3. Remove the auxiliary air pump relay from the housing and disconnect the connector.

Installation

1. Connect the connector to the auxiliary air pump relay and secure the relay to the housing.

2. Install the housing cover for housing the electronic control units and tighten the hexagon socket screws to a torque of 2 Nm (1.5 lb ft).

3. Connect "mass" battery wire.
