Temperature sensor in mounting box (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.



2. Remove the 10 mounting box cover screws and remove the cover.



3. Disconnect the connector from the temperature sensor in the mounting box.

4. Remove the temperature sensor from the mounting box.

Assembly

1. Install the temperature sensor in the mounting box.

2. Connect the block to the junction box temperature sensor.

3. Install the junction box cover, screw in the screws and tighten them to 2 Nm.

4. Attach "negative" battery terminal.

5. If a new sensor was installed, reconfigure the control system

using the TestBook/T4 instrument.
