Dismantling
1. Remove the automatic transmission filter.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - ZF 5HP24, REPAIR WORK, Filter - automatic transmission fluid.
2. Disconnect the connector block from the automatic transmission.
3. Remove the connector block retainer Remove the connector block from the automatic transmission crankcase.
4. Turn out 2 Torx screws fastening clips of sensors of speed, remove clips and sensors of speed.
5. Evenly and gradually loosen and remove the 22 Torx screws with a wide collar from the spool and valve block.
6. Remove the spool and valve assembly.
7. Mark position of sockets and remove 10 blocks from sockets of gauges and electromagnets.
8. Remove wiring harness, remove and discard O-rings.
Assembly
1. Clear a block and a socket of a socket of an automatic transmission.
2. Install new O-rings on the wiring harness and lubricate them with automatic transmission fluid.
3. Install the wiring harness on the spool and valve block and secure it with clamps.
4. Connect the pads to the connectors of the sensors and electromagnets.
5. Wipe the spool and valve block and all mating surfaces.
6. With the help of an assistant, install the spool and valve block, attach the connector blocks and make sure that the selector plug matches the ledge.
7. Tighten the 22 Torx screws of the spool and valve assembly evenly and progressively to 10 Nm.
8. Install the automatic transmission connector retainer.
9. Attach a block to a socket of an automatic transmission.
10. Install the sensor in the block of spools and valves, install the clamp and tighten the Torx screw with a torque of 10 Nm.
11. Install the automatic transmission filter.
