Gear selector shaft seal (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Turn away a nut of fastening of the selector lever to a shaft of the selector of a transmission and remove the selector lever.

2. Turn out two screws of a lath of fastening of a cable of the selector to a transmission and fix a cable aside.



3. Using tool LRT-44-030/1, remove the selector shaft seal from the gearbox housing and discard it.

Assembly

1. Wipe the selector shaft and seal groove.



2. Using tool LRT-44-030/2, install the seal in the gearbox housing.

3. Install the selector lever on the selector shaft, tighten the nut and tighten it with a torque of 10 Nm.

4. Establish a level of fastening of a cable of the selector on a case of a transmission, wrap screws and tighten them with the moment of 10 Н·м.
