Pressure control solenoid valve (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the solenoid valve assembly.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - GM 5L40-E, REPAIR WORK, Automatic transmission spool block.

2. Disconnect the connector block from the electromagnet.

3. Release and remove the solenoid snap ring.

4. Remove the solenoid from the valve body and discard the o-rings.

Assembly

1. Wipe mating surfaces of solenoid and valve.

2. Install new O-rings on the solenoid and lubricate them with automatic transmission fluid.

3. Install the solenoid on the valve body and secure it with the circlip.

4. Connect the block to the solenoid connector..

5. Install the solenoid valve assembly.
