Air intake box (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Release the hood lift stops, raise the hood and secure it in an upright position.

2. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.



3. Remove the air intake molding rubber seal.



4. Remove the cover from "positive" cable.

5. Loosen the nut and disconnect "positive "terminal cable.

6. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of a casing of an air inlet and remove a casing of an air inlet in gathering.

NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.

7. Turn away 3 screws of fastening of a cover of an air inlet and remove a cover.

8. Remove the air filter.

Assembly

1. Install the air filter.

2. Install the cover and fasten it with screws.

3. Install the air intake box assembly and tighten the fastening nuts with a torque of 10 Nm.

4. Attach "positive" cable to the terminal tighten the nut to 20 Nm.

5. Install the cover.

6. Install the air intake molding rubber seal.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.

8. Attach the hood lift stops and close the hood.
