Electronic control unit parking assistance system (Range Rover 3)

If you need to replace the electronic control unit, then before disconnecting the battery, you must connect the Testbook / T4 and follow the recommended steps.

Please read the section carefully before disconnecting the battery "Disconnecting the battery" and follow all the instructions there.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Removing

1. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.

2. Remove the hatch located in a luggage carrier on the right side.

3. Remove the warning triangle.



4. Remove the cable tie for the wiring harness.

5. Loosen the 2 cable harness clamps.

6. Turn away 3 bolts of fastening of a box of safety locks to a body.



7. Disconnect 3 pads from the control unit of the parking assistance system.

8. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of the control unit of the help system at a parking.

Installation

1. Install the parking aid control unit and secure with nuts.

2. Connect the blocks to the control unit of the parking assistance system.

3. Install the fuse box and tighten the bolts with a torque of 6 N «m.

4. Reinstall the wiring harness and secure it.

5. Install and secure the emergency installation sign.

6. Replace the hatch.

7. Attach "mass" battery wire.
