Trailer electronic control unit (Range Rover 3)

If you need to replace the electronic control unit, then before disconnecting the battery, you must connect the Testbook / T4 and follow the recommended sequence of actions.

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Removing

1. Disconnect "mass" battery wire.

2. Remove the hatch in the trunk on the right side.



3. Turn off 2 nuts of fastening of the block of electronic control (ECU) trailer.

4. Loosen and disconnect the shoe.

5. Remove trailer ECU.

Installation

1. Position the trailer control unit near the anchorage and attach the block.

2. Install trailer control box and secure with nuts.

3. Replace the hatch.

4. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
