Removing

1. Remove the tailgate bottom trim.

2. Remove the tailgate lock.

3. Disconnect block from the electric motor.

4. Release the tailgate emergency release cable cover and remove the Torx bolts. Move the cable to the side and remove the motor.

Installation

1. Position the motor so that the lock spindle fits into the hole. Install the cable mounting bolt and secure the motor. Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm.

2. Attach the wiring block.

3. Install the tailgate lock.

4. Establish the bottom overlay of a door of a luggage compartment.
