Battery storage area (Range Rover 3)

Please read the section carefully before disconnecting the battery "Disconnecting the battery" and follow all the instructions there.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Removing

1. Remove the battery.

ENGINE START AND CHARGING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORKS, Accumulator battery.

2. Turn away 9 screws of fastening of a fender liner from an internal surface of a wing and a sealant. Lower the fender liner to access the fasteners.



3. Unscrew the nut securing the auxiliary heater (FBH) to the back of the battery tray.



4. Remove 4 bolts and battery support tray.

Installation

1. Install the support tray. Make sure that the stud is aligned with the hole in the auxiliary heater mounting bracket (FBH).

2. Install the support tray bolts and the auxiliary heater mounting bracket nut (FBH). Tighten the bolts with a torque of 10 Nm.

3. Replace the dust shield.

4. Install the battery.
