TD6 Engine Attachment Drive Belt (Range Rover 3)

Removing

1. Remove the compressor drive belt.

AIR CONDITIONING, REPAIR WORK, Compressor drive belt - Td6 engine.

2. Remove the viscous fan clutch.

COOLING SYSTEM: Td6, REPAIR WORK, Viscous fan clutch.

3. Using a 24mm socket and turning the tensioner counterclockwise, remove the belt from the engine coolant pump pulley. Loosen tensioner.

4. Loosen and remove the implement drive belt from the remaining rollers.

Installation

1. Check drive belt pulleys and rollers for damage.

2. Make sure the compressor pulley and drive belt are clean.

3. Install the drive belt on the rollers.

4. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise, install the belt and release the tensioner. Make sure the belt is properly wrapped around the rollers.

5. Install the viscous fan clutch.

COOLING SYSTEM: Td6, REPAIR WORK, Viscous fan clutch.

6. Install the compressor drive belt.
