GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.
Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Remove the air intake box.

3. Empty the air conditioning system and collect the refrigerant.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, AIR CONDITIONER DRAINAGE, REFRIGERANT RECOVERY AND CHARGING, Air Conditioner Emptying - Refrigerant Recovery and Charging.
4. Remove the lower panel from outside the driver.
5. Remove the bottom cover.

6. Turn out the screw of fastening of an air duct of a floor, remove an air duct.
7. Disconnect the evaporator sensor cable from the cover of the TXV unit.
8. Remove the 4 Torx screws securing the TXV box cover and move it to the side.
9. Remove the 2 Allen type screws holding the A/C piping to the baffle, disconnect the piping, remove and discard the o-rings.
10. Remove the 2 Allen type screws holding the A/C piping to the TXV unit, disconnect the piping, remove and discard the o-rings.
11. Remove the TXV block.
12. Close the openings of all connections with plugs.
Assembly
1. Clean the mating surfaces and sealing locations of the evaporator, TXV unit, and A/C piping.
2. Lubricate new O-rings with clean special oil and install them on the evaporator lines.
3. Install the TXV unit on the air conditioner piping, install the clamps, tighten the fixing screws and tighten them with a torque of 6 Nm.
4. Position the air conditioning piping on the bulkhead, tighten the fixing screws and tighten them with a torque of 6 Nm.
5. Install and secure the cover of the TXV unit.
6. Attach the evaporator sensor cable.
7. Position and secure the lower air duct of the heater.
8. Replace the bottom cover.
CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Control panel lower cover.
9. Reinstall the bottom panel on the driver's side.
10. Prime the air conditioning system.

11. Replace the air intake box.
HEATING AND VENTILATION, REPAIR WORKS, Air intake box.
12. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
