The top overlays of a steering column assembled with a column (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Pull the steering column fully out for easy access.



2. Turn out 3 screws - a self-tapping screw of fastening of the top overlays of a steering column.

3. Release the pads from the retainers connecting the pad assemblies to the top of the steering column casing.

4. Remove the top and bottom overlays of a steering column.

Assembly

1. Install the top trim and make sure the tabs connecting the top and bottom trims snap into place.

2. Fix the pads on the steering column with self-tapping screws.

3. Connect and fasten the top part of a casing of a steering column with overlays.
