Dismantling
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle raised only on a jack or lift. Always install safety props.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the hub bearing nut cotter pin.
4. Have a partner press the brake pedal, unscrew the bearing nut and discard it.
5. Remove the brake disc.

6. Remove the upper coupling spring of the parking brake pads.
7. Rotate the brake pad retainers 90°and remove them.
8. Remove parking brake pads complete with lower return spring and clearance adjuster.
9. Remove the expansion bar of the shoes.
10. Remove the tie rod.

11. Release the wiring of the wheel speed sensor from the clamp.
12. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the sensor of speed of rotation of a wheel, release the sensor and take it aside.
13. Loosen the hexagon socket screw (Allen type) securing the parking brake cable bracket.
14. Turn out the screw of fastening of a cable to a protective casing of a brake disk.
15. Disconnect the cable from the protective cover.
16. Screw the central screw LRT-60-030/3 onto the tool LRT-60-030/1 and install it on the hub together with the washer LRT-60-030/2. Fasten the tool with nuts LRT-60-030/5.
17. Turn in the center screw to force the drive shaft out of the hub.
18. Remove the tool.
19. Mark the location of the eccentric relative to the upper arm.
20. Remove and discard the nut and bolt that secures the hub to the upper suspension arm. Disconnect the hub from the lever.
21. Remove and discard the nut and bolt that secures the lower suspension arm to the hub.
22. Remove the hub assembly.
Assembly
1. Clean the splines of the drive shaft and hub from dirt.
2. Lightly grease the splined surfaces.
3. Clear a dirt interfaced surfaces of a nave and the top and lower levers.
4. Install the hub assembly. Install a new bolt and insert the drive shaft into the hub.
5. Align the hub with the upper arm and install a new bolt. Install the eccentric according to the mark made earlier and lightly tighten the bolt.
6. Tighten the bolt of the lower suspension arm to the hub with a torque of 250 Nm (184 lb ft).
7. Install tool LRT-60-030/4 on the drive shaft.
8. Install tool LRT-60-030/1 together with washer LRT-60-030/2 and fix the tool with nuts LRT-60-030/5.
9. Screw the nut onto the tool LRT-60-030/4 and tighten it to fully insert the drive shaft into the hub flange.
10. Remove the tool.
11. Attach the parking brake cable to the protective casing of the brake disc, tighten the bolt with a torque of 8 Nm (6 lb ft).
12. Move the parking brake cable bracket to the upper suspension arm and tighten the Allen screw with a torque of 5 Nm (3.7 lb ft).
13. Clean the surface of the wheel speed sensor, apply an anti-stick lubricant, and attach it to the hub.
FILLING CAPACITIES, USED OPERATING LIQUIDS, OILS AND SEALANTS, Lubrication system.
14. Install the Allen-type screw securing the wheel speed sensor and tighten it to a torque of 8 Nm (6 lb ft).
15. Install the tie rod.
REAR SUSPENSION, REPAIR WORKS, Tie rod.
16. Clean the guard and brake disc with brake cleaner.
17. Clean the pad expansion bar.
18. Install expander bar.
19. Reinstall the shoe assemblies, secure the shoe retainers and top return spring.
20. Install the brake disc.
BRAKING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORKS, Brake disc -rear brake mechanisms.
21. Install a new wheel bearing nut and tighten to 420 Nm (311 lb ft).
22. Snap the nut onto the drive shaft.
23. Adjust the parking brake.
BRAKES, ADJUSTMENTS, Parking brake adjustment.
24. Reinstall the wheel and tighten the nuts to 140 Nm (103 lb ft).
25. Remove props and lower the car.
26. Check wheel alignment.
27. Tighten the bolt securing the upper suspension arm to the hub with a torque of 165 Nm (121 lb ft).
