Dismantling
1. Follow all safety rules when working with passive safety systems.
GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety Precautions When Working on the Airbag System (SRS).
WARNING: Always remove both battery terminals before working on the restraint systems (SRS). Disconnect first "negative " terminal. Never mix up the wires when connecting to the battery.
2. Remove an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.
CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Ceiling.
3. Separate the drain pipes from the sunroof.
4. Disconnect the rear console cable harness from the sunroof.
5. Disconnect block from knot of the electric drive of the hatch.
6. Turn out the Allen screw of fastening of the electric drive and the hatch.
7. Remove the 2 screws with special washers securing the front edge of the sunroof.
8. Turn out 10 screws of fastening of the hatch and by means of the assistant remove the hatch in gathering.
Assembly
1. Clean sunroof and mating surfaces.
2. With the help of an assistant, install the sunroof in place and evenly tighten the fastening screws with a torque of 10 Nm.
3. Tighten the Allen screw to 6 Nm.
4. Attach block to the electric motor.
5. Route and secure the rear console cable harness.
6. Check that the drain tubes are not clogged.
7. Connect the drain pipes to the sunroof.
8. Establish an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.

9. Connect the battery terminals, first "positive" terminal.
10. If a new sunroof is being installed, the following initialization procedure must be performed.
- Press and hold the sunroof lift switch. Keep pressing the switch for about 20 seconds until you hear a distinct thud at the sunroof motor assembly.
- Release the switch and immediately press it again. The sunroof will lower, move to the fully open position, and return to the closed position to indicate that initialization has been completed.
