Front seat move switch (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling

1. Raise the seat cushion.

2. Follow all safety rules when working with passive safety systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety Precautions When Working on the Airbag System (SRS).

WARNING: Always remove both battery terminals before working on the restraint systems (SRS). Disconnect first "negative " terminal. Never mix up the wires when connecting to the battery.

3. Remove the screw securing the seat base side panel.

4. Release the 4 fasteners securing the side panel of the seat base and carefully separate the panel from the seat.



5. Release the clamps, disconnect the connector blocks and remove the switch block.

Assembly

1. Make sure the lumbar support switch cable is routed correctly.

2. Install the switch box, attach the pads to the connectors, and secure the box to the side panel of the seat base.

3. Align the base plate with the tabs and secure with the screw.

4. Connect the battery terminals, first "positive" terminal.

5. Move the seat to its original position.
