Lumbar stop switch (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling

1. Raise the seat cushion.

2. Follow all safety rules when working with passive safety systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety Precautions When Working on the Airbag System (SRS).

WARNING: Always remove both battery terminals before working on the restraint systems (SRS). Disconnect first "negative" terminal. Never mix up the wires when connecting to the battery.

3. Remove the screw securing the seat base side panel.

4. Release the 3 fasteners securing the side panel of the seat base and carefully separate the panel from the seat.

Power seat models have 4 latches.

5. Disconnect the connector from the lumbar support switch connector.

6. Release and remove the lumbar support switch.

Assembly

1. Install the lumbar support switch.

2. Attach the connector to the lumbar support switch connector.

3. Align the side panel of the seat base with the latches and secure it with the screw.

4. Connect the battery terminals, first "positive" terminal.

5. Move the seat to its original position.
