Height headrest motor (front seat) (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the seat assembly.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Front seat.

2. Remove the Allen screw securing the armrest.

3. Remove the armrest from the hinge ledge.



4. Release the 3 seat back panel tensioner straps under the seat.

5. Release the brackets securing the backrest upholstery to the bottom of the backrest panel.



6. Remove the 2 pins securing the bottom of the back panel.


7. Release the edges of the upholstery on both sides of the seat back panel.

8. Separate the backrest panel from the seat.



9. Release the headrest from the motor assembly and remove the headrest from the seat.

10. Disconnect the connector from the head restraint height adjustment motor connector.

11. Release the motor assembly from the retainers and remove it from the seat frame.

Assembly

1. Install the motor assembly to the seatback frame and secure it to the retainers.

2. Connect the connector to the vertical headrest motor connector.

3. Place the head restraint on the seat and connect it to the motor drive assembly.

4. Install the back panel to the seat assembly and install the back panel bottom mounting pins.

5. Fasten both ends of the seat cushion upholstery to the back panel.

6. Clip the bottom of the upholstery to the back panel.

7. Attach the tension straps of the back panel to the latches on the bottom of the seat.

8. Place the armrest on the hinge and tighten the Allen screw to 25 Nm.

9. Install the seat assembly in the vehicle.
