Rear seat lock (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the backrest upholstery and cushion from the seatback frame.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear seat back upholstery (Right side).

2. Remove and discard the retainer connecting the drive arm to the backrest lock assembly.

3. Disconnect the drive lever from the backrest lock.

4. Remove the 2 Allen screws securing the lock assembly to the backrest frame and remove the lock assembly.

Assembly

1. Install the lock assembly to the back frame and tighten the Allen screws to 25 Nm.

2. Attach the drive lever and secure it with the retainer.

3. Install the backrest upholstery and cushion to the seatback frame.
