Rear seat cushion upholstery (right side) (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the seat base trim.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear seat base panel.

2. Remove the seat folding mechanism.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear Outboard Seat Hinge.

3. Disconnect the block from the wiring harness.

4. Remove the Torx screw connecting the backrest and seat cushion frames. Separate the frames from each other.



5. Release both sides and the front edge of the seat upholstery, lift up the upholstery and cushion.

6. Release the seat heating cable block from the retainer and pass the cable through the frame.

7. Release 1 pin and rear trim connecting upholstery to cushion frame and remove upholstery and cushion.



8. Loosen the 11 upholstery-to-cushion brackets.




9. Release the 16 rings securing the upholstery to the cushion and remove the upholstery.

Assembly

1. Install the upholstery on the cushion and secure it with rings.

2. Install the 11 upholstery brackets on the bottom of the cushion.

3. Install the cushion on the frame and fasten the back edge of the upholstery.

4. Establish a pin of fastening of a back edge of an upholstery.

5. Pass the seat heating cable through the seat frame and secure the connector block with the retainer.

6. Attach the seat upholstery to the sides and front of the seat.

7. Install the Torx screw securing the backrest frame to the seat frame and tighten to 45 Nm.

8. Connect the block to the electrical wiring connector of the seatback.

9. Install the seat folding mechanism.

10. Install the seat base trim.
