Rear seat upholstery (left side) (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the seat base trim.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear seat base panel.

2. Remove the seat folding mechanism.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear Outboard Seat Hinge.

3. Remove the rear backrest pad.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear seat back padding.

4. Remove the Torx screw connecting the backrest and seat cushion frames. Separate the frames from each other.

5. Remove the front armrest pad assembly.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear seat armrest front pad.

6. Disconnect block from a socket of system of heating of a seat.

7. Release the trim from the clips and remove it.



8. Release the seat upholstery from the sides and front of the seat.

9. Lift upholstery and seat cushion, remove and discard Torx screw securing seat belt support to vehicle frame.


10. Pull the seat belt through the seat cushion and upholstery and remove the seat base.



11. Turn out 2 screws of fastening of an overlay of a seat belt and remove an overlay.

12. Remove the pads securing the cushion upholstery to the sides and base of the frame.

13. Carefully release the 4 fixing clips for the seat locking button trim and remove the trim.



14. Remove the upholstery and back cushion to gain access to the head restraint rails.

15. Release the 3 clips securing the head restraint rails to the seat frame and remove the rails.



16. Remove the upholstery and cushion assembly from the frame and pull the strap through the cushion.


17. Release 16 rings of fastening of an upholstery to a pillow and remove an upholstery.

Assembly

1. Install the upholstery on the cushion and secure it with 15 rings.

2. Pass the strap through the upholstery and cushion and install the cushion assembly onto the seat frame.

3. Install and secure the headrest rails to the seatback.

4. Install and secure the seat release button trim.

5. Attach the cushion upholstery fasteners to the side and base of the frame.

6. Install the seat belt cover and secure with screws.

7. Pass the seat belt through the upholstery and cushion assembly.

8. Position the seat belt on the frame, install the Torx screw and tighten to 48 Nm.

9. Attach the seat upholstery to the side and front of the seat.

10. Connect the seat heater connector block.

11. Install the front pad assembly with the armrest.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Rear seat armrest front pad.

12. Align the backrest frame and the seat cushion frame, turn the Torx screw on the left side and tighten it with a torque of 25 Nm.

13. Establish a back overlay of a back.

14. Install the seat folding mechanism.

15. Install the seat base trim.
