Upholstery of a pillow of a forward seat (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the seat assembly.

SEATS, REPAIRS, Front seat.

2. Remove the Allen screw securing the armrest.

3. Remove the armrest from the hinge ledge.

4. Turn out the screw of fastening of an overlay on the inside of the basis of a seat and remove an overlay.

5. Remove the block of switches.

6. Loosen the 3 seat back panel tension straps under the seat.



7. Release the brackets securing the backrest upholstery to the bottom of the backrest panel.




8. Release the edges of the backrest upholstery on both sides of the seatback panel.

9. Remove the 2 pins securing the bottom of the back panel.

10. Separate the backrest panel from the seat.



11. Disconnect the lumbar support cable connector from the pump and spool.

12. Disconnect the connector block from the seat heater cable.



13. Release the cables from the retainer and pass through the backrest upholstery.


14. Remove the 2 Torx screws and remove the backrest frame from the seat frame.



15. Separate an overlay of an upholstery of a pillow from a back part of a frame.

16. Separate the seat cushion trim from the side and front of the frame.



17. Remove the upholstered cushion assembly.

18. Release the 15 rings securing the upholstery to the cushion and remove the upholstery.

Assembly

1. Install the upholstery on the cushion and secure it with 15 rings.

2. Install and secure the upholstered cushion to the frame.

3. Align the backrest frame with the seat frame, install the Torx screws and tighten to 25 Nm.

4. Pull the lumbar support cable through the upholstery and attach to the seat frame.


5. Attach the shoe to the seat heater connector.

6. Attach the lumbar support cable lugs to the pump and spool.

7. Install the back panel to the seat assembly and install the fastening pins on the bottom of the back panel.

8. Fasten both ends of the seat cushion upholstery to the back panel.

9. Fasten the bottom of the upholstery with staples to the back panel.

10. Attach the tension straps of the back panel to the latches on the bottom of the seat.

11. Install the switch box.

12. Install the seat base trim and secure with screws.

13. Install the armrest on the hinge and tighten the Allen screw to 25 Nm.

14. Install the seat assembly in the vehicle.
