Side panel of body sill and B/C section of B-pillar (Range Rover 3)

This procedure covers the replacement of the threshold and sections "V/S" center pillar of the side panel of the body.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Remove all details and knots which are dismantled at replacement of section of a threshold of the side panel of a body.

4. Remove an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.

Repair work

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Code. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the cork weld as shown.

Assembly

1. Establish an upholstery of a ceiling of salon.

2. Reinstall all parts and assemblies that are dismantled when replacing the sill section of the side panel of the body.

3. Connect the generator.

4. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
