The back panel of a body assy (Range Rover 3)

The procedure for removing the rear body panel assembly is the same as for removing the outer rear panel.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Remove the outer rear panel of the body.

REPAIR WORKS, Exterior rear panel of the body.

Repair work

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Code. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the cork weld as shown.

Assembly

1. Install the outer rear body panel

REPAIR WORKS, Exterior rear panel of the body.

2. Connect the generator.

3. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
