Wheel arch extension (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Remove the front fender.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Front fender.

4. Right side: Remove the ECU cover.

5. Left side: Remove the windshield washer reservoir.

6. Separate the wiring harness from the wheel arch extension panel.

7. Remove the bumper mount.

8. Left side: Remove the hood latch cable.

9. Left side: Remove the coolant expansion tank.

Repair work

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Code. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the cork weld as shown.

Assembly

1. Left side: Replace the coolant expansion tank.

2. Left side: Install the hood latch cable.

3. Attach the wiring harness to the wheel arch extension panel.

4. Install the bumper mount.

5. Left side: Install the windshield washer reservoir.

6. Right side: Install the ECU cover.

7. Reinstall the front fender.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Front fender.

8. Connect the generator.

9. Attach "negative" terminal to the battery.
