Dismantling
1. Remove the steering column current collector assembly.
RETAINING SYSTEMS FOR DRIVER AND PASSENGERS, REPAIR WORK, Rotary Current Collector.
2. Remove the glove box.
CAR INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Glove box.
3. Remove the central ventilation grill.
HEATING AND VENTILATION, REPAIR WORKS, Fan (s) - the center of the control panel.
4. Remove the top overlay of the control panel from outside the driver.
VEHICLE INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Control panel top trim - driver's side.
5. Remove the lower overlay of the control panel from outside the driver.
VEHICLE INTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Control panel lower trim - driver's side.
6. Remove the 6 Torx screws securing the lower control panel casing.
7. Carefully release the 7 fasteners that secure the shroud to the shroud supports. Remove the bottom cover.
NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.
8. Remove 7 fasteners from casing.
9. Remove 4 spring clips from casing.
Assembly
1. Install the spring clips on the lower casing.
2. Install the fasteners on the lower casing.
3. Position the bottom cover on the supports and secure with the retainers and screws.
4. Establish the lower overlay of the control panel from outside the driver.

5. Establish the top overlay of the control panel from outside the driver.

6. Install the central ventilation grille.

7. Install the glove box.

8. Install the current collector assembly.
