Upper A-pillar trim (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all the requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling

1. Follow all safety rules when working with passive safety systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Safety Precautions When Working on the Airbag System (SRS).

2. Remove the door seal.



3. Remove the plug covering the screw.

4. Remove the Torx screw securing the rack pad "A".

5. Loosen the 3 brackets securing the rack pad "A" and remove the cover.

WARNING: Since the airbag is located directly behind this trim, special care is required when removing the trim.

6. Remove the clips from the trim.

Assembly

1. Install the clips on the trim.

2. Install the trim on the stand "A", tighten the fastening screw and tighten it with a torque of 2 Nm.

3. Install the screw access plug.

4. Replace the door seal.

5. Connect the battery terminals, first "positive" terminal.
