Front engine protection (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Raise the car on a lift.



2. Release the latch and remove the front towing eyelet cover.

3. Turn out 6 screws of fastening of the lower fairing to protection of the engine.

4. Turn out 2 screws of fastening of arms of the lower fairing to a bumper.



5. Carefully pry up the lower fairing to access and remove the 4 screws.



6. Remove 2 screws securing the inner edge of the left fender liner to the engine protection, repeat the operation with the right fender liner.



7. Turn out the remaining 6 screws securing the protection, release and remove the protection.

NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.

8. Remove the 6 threaded caps from the protection shield.

Assembly

1. Install the threaded caps in the protection.

2. Install the protection on the car and fix it with screws.

3. Install the screws securing the lower fairing and fender liner on the left and right sides.

4. Install the towing eyelet cover and secure it.
