Front door panel (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the 3 screws securing the inner panel to the door.

2. Remove an overlay of the panel of a door and turn out the screw.



3. Carefully release the 13 fasteners securing the panel to the door.

4. Make sure the center lock is also released.



5. Pull the panel horizontally from the 7 fasteners securing the upper edge of the door panel to the inner glass seal. When finally removing the panel, be careful not to damage the door lock button.


6. Release the door lock cable and move it to the side.



7. Disconnect 6 blocks of sockets of cables of a door and remove the internal panel of a door.

NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.

8. Remove the 3 Torx screws securing the speaker to the door panel and remove the speaker.



9. Remove 13 clips from the door body.


10. Remove the retainer from the inner plate of the door handle.

11. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of an internal plate of the handle of a door. Remove the inner plate.



12. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of a decorative slip of a door pocket, carefully separate an overlay from 3 clamps and remove it.



13. Remove the 2 Torx screws securing the door pocket inner trim to the door inner panel. Remove the decorative trim.



14. Wring out a spring clip and remove a plafond of illumination from the panel of a door.




15. Carefully remove the power window control panel from the door panel.



16. Remove the access hole cover from the door panel.

Assembly

1. Replace the access hole cover.

2. Install the power window control panel to the door panel.

3. Install the lighting cover on the door panel.

4. Fit the door pocket interior trim and secure with screws.

5. Establish an external decorative slip of a pocket of a door, screw nuts and tighten them with the moment of 3 Н·м.

6. Establish an internal plate of the handle of a door, wrap nuts and tighten them with the moment of 6 Нм.

7. Install and secure the retainer on the inner plate of the door handle.

8. Install the door panel fasteners.


9. Install the speaker in the door panel and secure it with Torx screws.

10. Attach connector blocks.

11. Attach the cable to the inside door handle.

12. Install the front door panel.

13. Establish screws of fastening of the panel of a forward door.

14. Install the panel fixing screw covers.
