Front door power window (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove glass of a forward door.

2. Disconnect the shoe from the power window motor.

3. Remove the retainer securing the cable to the door reinforcement.

4. Remove the Torx screw and remove the retainer securing the power window to the door reinforcement.



5. Remove and discard the 2 lower screws securing the power window to the door frame.

6. Turn out 3 Torx screws of fastening of a window regulator to a frame of a door and remove a window regulator through an aperture in a door.

Assembly

1. Establish window lifter in a door and disconnect intermediate draft from directing glass.

2. Install the upper mounting screws and retainer and tighten the screws to 10 Nm.

3. Install new lower screws and tighten them to 10 Nm.

4. Install the power window cable retainer.

5. Attach block to the electric motor.

6. Install the door glass.
