Table of fault signs (Freelander 2)

Checking spark plugs: inspect the spark plugs for cracks, damage, carbon deposits and oiling, check the condition of the ground electrode, the tip of the central electrode and the high-voltage contact of the spark plug; Verify that the spark plug gap is correct with a feeler gauge. Be careful not to damage the center and ground electrode tips. Install a new spark plug if necessary (candles) ignition. For engine ignition coil circuit checks, check for DTCs and refer to the DTC Index.
