Ignition coil in block with spark plug (Freelander 2)

Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

CAUTION: After turning off the ignition, wait two minutes before disconnecting the battery. Failure to pause for 2 minutes may damage the navigation computer.

2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to procedure: Engine Cover - 3.2L NA - I6 (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

3. Disconnect 6 direct ignition coils.

Installation

1. Install direct ignition coils. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

2. Connect the electrical connectors of the direct ignition coils.

3. Install the engine cover. Refer to procedure: Engine Cover - 3.2L NA - I6 (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

4. Connect a wire of weight to the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).
