Fuel tank filler pipe (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The description of the removal procedure in this manual may include installation steps.

Removing

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always place secure supports under the vehicle.

2. Remove the rear wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).







6. Turn away a nut and turn out a bolt of fastening of a jellied branch pipe of a fuel tank to a body. Tightening torque: 10 Nm



7. Release the bottom bracket of fastening of a jellied branch pipe of a fuel tank. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

8. Release a collar and disconnect a hose of a jellied branch pipe from a fuel tank.

9. Release a collar and disconnect a ventilating hose of a jellied branch pipe.

10. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
