Fuel level sensor (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The description of the removal procedure in this manual may include installation steps.

Removing

1. Disconnect the battery ground wire. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle.

3. Remove the fuel pump in the block with the fuel gauge sensor. Refer to Procedure: Fuel Pump and Fuel Delivery Unit (310-01B Fuel tank and fuel lines - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Removal - Refitting).

4. Remove the left fuel level sensor.

Installation

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
