The tubing is for single use only and should be replaced every time the pin is released.
Bypass fuel lines
The fuel system bypass lines are equipped with quick couplings and connect the fuel manifold, injectors and high pressure pump to the fuel filter.

The injector bypass piping is a single piece and is shipped as a single unit. The nozzle connector consists of two moving parts. This two-piece connector must be properly removed from the nozzle. Otherwise, the connector will be damaged.
To remove the injector bypass connector, first pull up on the center retaining clip and then use the two tabs to release the locking clip. To install the injector bypass connector, push the connector onto the injector bypass port using the two tabs on the locking clip, and then lock the connector by pressing the center locking clip down. A distinct 'click' will be heard when the center retaining clip is removed or installed.
A 10 bar check valve is installed at the fuel injector bypass connection to maintain pressure in the injectors. A pressure of 10 bar is necessary to keep the fuel in the hydraulic chamber and for the correct operation of the injectors.
