The cylinder head has two overhead camshafts that actuate four valves per cylinder via steel roller levers with hydraulic lash adjusters.
The inlet valve is made from a single material and has a head diameter of 24.70 mm. The exhaust valve head and stem are made from different materials, which are bonded by friction welding. Exhaust valve head diameter - 22.33 mm. The diameter of the inlet and outlet valve stem is 6.0 mm.
The 16 single cylindrical valve springs are made from spring steel wire with a diameter of 3 mm. Each spring is mounted on the valve stem and wound into the lower spring plate, which is located in the cylinder head. The upper end of the spring is wound into the upper plate, which is attached to the valve stem with two split conical crackers. The two conical cotters have internal grooves that mate with grooves in the upper region of the valve stem. The lower spring plate also forms the valve stem sealing cap and is equipped with an O-ring.
