Fuel temperature sensor (Freelander 2)

Avoid open flames, sparks or flammable substances.

After stopping the engine, wait at least one minute before making any repairs to the fuel injection system.

Removing

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the ground wire from the battery. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00, Specifications).

2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to procedure: Engine Cover - 2.2L Diesel (501-05, Removal and installation).

Clean the area around the element and remove foreign material from it. Prepare to collect spilled liquid. Plug all openings. Use new plugs.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.

CAUTION: Clean area around element and remove foreign material from area.
