2. Set heater controls to maximum.
3. Remove the expansion tank cap.
WARNING: Do not remove the coolant expansion tank cap while the system is hot, as steam or coolant escaping from the cap could cause serious injury such as scalding.
4. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).
5. Remove the right front wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
6. Remove the lower engine protection. Refer to procedure: Motor protection (501-02 Front body panels, Removal and installation).
7. Substitute a container to collect the escaping liquid.
8. Connect a hose to the radiator drain cock. Open the faucet.
9. Tightening torque: 23 Nm
10. Tighten the radiator drain cock.
11. Screw in the drain plug.
12. Connect a wire of weight to the accumulator. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging system - General information, Specifications).
13. Connect hoses for removal of the fulfilled gases to back pipes.
14. Fill the cooling system up to the maximum mark on the expansion tank.
15. Establish a cover of a broad tank.
16. Keep the engine speed at 2000 rpm until warm air comes out of the heater.
17. Fill the cooling system up to the maximum mark on the expansion tank.
18. Turn off the engine and let it cool down.
19. If coolant gets on the car, wipe it off.
20. Check coolant level, top up if necessary.
21. Install the lower engine protection. Refer to procedure: Motor protection (501-02 Front body panels, Removal and installation).
22. Install the front wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
