Selector Assembly (Freelander 2)

Removing

1. Remove the floor console. Refer to Procedure: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument panel and console, Removal and installation).

2. Move the gear selector lever to the position "P".

3. Press and hold the selector cable ball joint release button and use the lever to carefully release the selector cable.

4. Release the rope.

5. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
