Inspection and testing of drive units (Freelander 2)

1. Visually inspect for system integrity and obvious signs of damage.

Mechanical elements:

• FEAD belt
• FEAD belt tension
• FEAD belt tensioner
• FEAD belt pulleys
• FEAD belt pulley seals

2. If there is an obvious cause for a problem you identified or described by a customer, resolve it before proceeding with the next steps (if possible).

3. If the cause is not visually obvious, look for the symptom and contact Symptom table.
