WARNING: Do not mix different types of brake fluids.
- Always use two wrenches when loosening or tightening brake pipes or brake hose nuts.
- Make sure the hoses are not kinked or have knots.
- Attach the brake lines and hoses to the brackets provided. Once secured, they should not touch potential sources of friction.
- Containers for draining and storing brake fluid must be absolutely clean.
- Do not store brake fluid in leaky containers, as the fluid will absorb moisture from the surrounding air, causing the fluid to drop its boiling point.
- Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with other fluids such as mineral oils. Do not pour brake fluid intended for later use into a container that has previously held other fluid.
- Do not reuse brake fluid that has been drained from the system during repairs.
- To clean parts of the brake system, use filtered brake fluid or a recommended substitute.
- Unless otherwise specified, use only clean brake fluid to lubricate seals and parts of the brake system.
- After disconnecting the brake pipes or hoses, immediately install protective caps or plugs to prevent dirt from entering the system.
- Check the thread compatibility of the original parts with the new installed parts.
- When disassembling the hydraulic system components, ensure absolute cleanliness of the workplace.
