CAUTION: Please note that service intervals "A" And "B" V "Service Schedule" heavy-duty vehicles may differ, both in terms of frequency and mileage, from service intervals for normal-duty vehicles. Therefore, in the case of vehicles operated in difficult conditions, it is necessary to use the section "Heavy duty operation".
Unless otherwise specified, these operations must be carried out at every maintenance.
Accumulator battery
- Check the condition of the battery.
- Check the electrolyte level and top up if necessary.
Front seats
Front seat frame bolts - every 2 years or 48,000 km.
- Carefully remove the trim panels covering the front seat frame Torx screws.
- Check that the screws securing the Torx head frame of the front seat are securely tightened and that the frame is not allowed to move even slightly.
- Replace the trim panels when finished.
Rear seats
Rear seat frame mounting bolts - every 2 years or 48,000 km.
Check that the seat frame mounting bolts are securely tightened and that the frame is not allowed to move even slightly.
Seat belts
Seat belts - every 2 years or 48,000 km. Front seat belt anchors:

Retractable reel attachment - rear center seat belt:
Fastening of the lock - the central seat belt of a back seat:
1. Fully extend the seat belt and allow it to retract under the action of the retractor. Repeat the test for all seat belts.
2. Check the entire length of the seat belt for signs of fraying or damage: repeat for all belts.
3. Attach each belt to your lock, check the connection of the lock plate with the lock. Release the belt buckle and check that the buckle opens normally.
4. Check the security of all belts and locks.
5. Check that the upper shoulder strap adjustment mechanism is working properly.
Lamps, horn and signaling devices
- Turn on the headlights, position lights, fog lights, reversing lights, and tail lights and check their operation.
- Check the operation of the automatic system for correcting light beams in height (if the car is equipped with it).
- Check the operation of the direction indicators and alarms.
- Check the operation of the stop lights.
- Check the condition of all outdoor lighting fixtures. Pay special attention to the glass headlights and fog lights. They should not be chipped from gravel and cracks.
- Check the volume and clarity of the audio signal.
- Turn on the headlights and check the operation of the position lamps / headlights indicator when the door is opened.
- Check the operation of the interior lighting devices.
- Check the operation of the block of indicators and annunciators of the instrument panel.
Cleaners and washers
- Check the condition of all wiper blades and make sure they are not damaged or cracked.
- Check the windshield wiper arms.
- Turn on the windshield washer and wiper. Washer jets must be clean and directed correctly.
- The front and rear wiper blades should operate smoothly, without jamming, in all modes.
Fine filter
Replace fine filter. For more information, see the chapter: Pollen Filter (412-01 Climate control, Removal and installation).
Corrosion/cosmetic inspection
An annual corrosion/cosmetic inspection is performed according to "Corrosion checklist".
Wheels and tires
- Check that the tires match the vehicle manufacturer's specifications. For more information, please refer to the chapter: Specifications (204-04 Wheels and tires, Specifications).
- Check/adjust tire pressure, including spare wheel. For more information, please refer to the chapter: Specifications (204-04 Wheels and tires, Specifications).
- Vehicle with tires with unidirectional tread pattern: Mark the position of the wheels in relation to the hub and the location of each wheel on the vehicle so that the wheel will be in the same position when installed.
- Loosen the wheel nuts. Raise the vehicle until the wheels are off the ground. For more information, see the chapter: Lifting the vehicle (100-02 Jacking and lifting the car on a lift, Description and principle of operation).
- Remove wheels.
- Inspect tires for cuts, bulges, peeling. Check the degree of wear of the tread pattern across the entire width of the tire and around the circumference; make sure the tread depth complies with local regulations.
NOTE: Do not install wheels yet.
Door locks and hinges
1. Check the operation of the locks of all doors, the hood and the fuel filler flap.
2. Lubricate the tapes of all doors, the hood latch and the tape of the fuel filler flap.
