Accessory drive belt

CAUTION: For heavy duty vehicles, see the appropriate section.

• Check the condition of the accessory drive belt.
• Remove all traces of dirt from the drive belt and pulleys.
• Check the drive belt for splitting and wear.
• Every 240,000 km: Replace the accessory drive belt. For more information, see chapter: Accessory Drive Belt (303-05A Accessory drive - 3.2L NA - I6, Removal and installation).

Timing belt, tensioner and pulley

Every 10 years or 240,000 km: Replace the timing belt, tensioner and pulley. For more information, refer to the chapter: Timing belt (303-01B Engine - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Removal and installation).
